Our facility is an intimate rehab center in Biloxi, Mississippi. We provide a comfortable, home-like atmosphere for our patients. Each room is outfitted for comfort, and you’ll love the peaceful residential setting.

In addition to drug and alcohol detox, we’ve created programs that are designed to address a range of addictive behaviors. This includes support services such as dual diagnosis treatment as well as group and individual therapy. All of this care is provided by a qualified, compassionate team in a center that focuses on total mind/body wellness for the long-term.

Best of all, our facility is staffed around the clock. Your stay is all-inclusive, and we accept most major commercial insurance plans. For those who are uninsured, we offer affordable cash payment options.

Our Treatment Services

As a smaller facility that’s dedicated to providing personalized care for individuals who are abusing alcohol and drugs, we strive to offer options that address the level and severity of your substance use disorder and any concurrent conditions.

Detox

Our medical detox is usually the first service offered to those who are in the throes of severe or long-term addiction. It’s designed to ease the pain and discomfort of withdrawal from substances like heroin and other opiates, alcohol, and benzodiazepines. This phase of treatment can last from 2-7 days, and it’s administered and monitored by trained medical professionals.

Residential Treatment

Following detox, residential treatment takes you or your loved one out of toxic or stressful environments. We continue your care in a relaxing setting that’s focused on recovery. Your days are regimented to promote stability and help you learn new, healthy habits while you’re in a safe place. This program runs from 30 – 90 days and may include outpatient care upon completion.

Partial Hospitalization (PHP)

PHP is a level of care that offers patients the flexibility of receiving full-time treatment, while living off-campus. It offers the best of our in-house services like therapy, but you can return home or to a sober living facility at the end of the day. It’s an option for those with severe or long-term addictions or people in relapse who are unable to participate in residential treatment due to family, school, or work obligations.

Intensive Outpatient Care (IOP) & Outpatient (OP)

IOP is for those with less severe or short-term addictions who need help but are unable to stay in our facility. This is also offered as part of ongoing recovery services for former inpatient residents. Your program could include medical maintenance, group or individual therapy, and other services determined by your treatment plan. The length of this program is determined by the severity of your addiction, your progress during treatment, and your determination to commit to recovery.

Mental Health Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Mississippi Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center offers a Mental Health Partial Hospitalization Program.  PHP is a level of care that offers patients the flexibility of receiving full-time treatment, while living off-campus. It offers the best of our in-house services like therapy, but you can return home or to a sober living facility at the end of the day. It’s an option for those with severe or long-term mental health matters or people in relapse who are unable to participate in residential treatment due to family, school, or work obligations.

Family Support Program

Mississippi Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center offers a Family Day every Sunday that begins at 9:30 am. Family members have to be approved by the therapist in order to participate. All attendees will join in a family group/therapy session in the morning followed by a BBQ and visitation with their loved one at the center. This gives our patients and their families the ability to address and remove barriers to their recovery with the guidance of healthcare professionals.

These services are complemented by a well-rounded, comprehensive program that includes proper nutrition, physical fitness, recreation, and alternative therapies. These include mental health diagnosis and treatment for a range of disorders, trauma therapy, and life skills learning that gives you the tools necessary to cope once you leave treatment.

However, you’re never completely on your own. Our aftercare program offers additional support for long-term recovery. This includes ongoing mental health care, medical maintenance, and other vital support services.

What to Expect From Substance Abuse Treatment

You’ll put in a lot of work during your journey toward overcoming addiction to alcohol and drugs. We’ll be with you every step of the way.

The process begins with intake and an assessment of your condition. From there, most people go into medically assisted detox. You may also receive treatment to address any immediate health concerns.

Once you’ve completed detox, your recovery team will work with you to map out a course of treatment. If you haven’t already committed to a program, it’s then that we’ll help you decide whether you need inpatient, outpatient, or some combination of treatments.

Depending on your personal recovery plan, your days will begin with a healthy breakfast, followed by therapy, recreation, a mid-day meal plus snacks, and classes to address other issues you’re facing.

Our goal is to work with you to heal from past traumas, help you identify personal triggers, and show you how to develop life skills and techniques to deal with stress and temptation in the future. We also offer family counseling and group sessions in an effort to give you the total support you need during recovery and after.
